“I used to go down to my local pier, sit on a bench with a box of donuts and break them into pieces. I'd throw them straight up in the air above me and the gulls would swoop in over my head and grab them in mid-air. Then each one would circle around & do it again. With dozens of them at a time, it was all I could do to keep up! But the view of the birds was beautiful - like my own private access to the filming of "Winged Migration"... kind of. Anyway... never got as close as you. LOVE the photo!”
